Mike Absher Mike Absher
Dealer Principal

I was born and raised in Marion. Apart from living in New York while in the Army, I’ve lived my whole life here. I now live south of Marion now with my wife, three boys, 3 dogs, and a host of other critters.

I started in the car business part time cleaning the shop when I was 12. I started full-time in 1989. I had a ‘sabbatical’ from 2003-2006 when I started a software company that sold software to car dealers. I got back into the car business on 2/1/2007 when my wife Cheryl and I purchased Marion Ford Hyundai.

My only active hobby is playing the trumpet, usually at local churches with some friends of mine from high school. I have played the trumpet for 30 years and enjoy it very much. I have some “inactive” hobbies that I hope to resume someday such as woodworking. I would also like to be on a S.W.A.T team, but I think I am past the maximum age. I still dream about that one though and hope that some municipality will waive the age thing for me, especially since I know the theme song so well.

I have three wonderful boys that are active in scouting, gymnastics, little league baseball, playing with the neighbor boys, digging holes and wrecking ATV’s. My wife Cheryl is a non-practicing attorney. She does a terrific job of guiding the boys through their misadventures and generally making her fourth boy’s(me) life a living blessing.

When I decided to get back into the car business, I pursued working at Marion Ford Hyundai the hardest. The people of the dealership and their abilities amazed me then, as they do now. Historically in the car dealership business there has been very little longevity of tenure. But at our dealership, the place is full of energetic, focused, long-employed smiling people. Many of our people have been here 20+ years. I believe our customers can feel our energy as soon as you step in the door, and I believe it makes the difference. I am proud to be a small part of it.

Rick Duncan Rick Duncan
General Manager

I was born and raised in Paducah and have lived here most of my life. The only exception being four years spent in Detroit working my way thru college. I have been “car crazy” for as long as I can remember. I learned to drive in my father’s 1957 Ford Ranchero. A vehicle that my twin brother and I still own to this day. I started in the automobile business in 1983 at a Pontiac-Lincoln-Mercury dealership. One year later I joined Allan Rhodes Chrysler-Honda and have been “here” ever since. “Here” has certainly changed over the years. We added BMW a year after I joined Allan Rhodes and in May of 1993, I and two partners bought Allan Rhodes out and changed the name to Bluegrass Honda-BMW. Mike Absher and I became friends several years ago and in October 2009 we completed a transaction that made Mike and his wife Cheryl the new owners of Bluegrass. Mike asked me to stay on as General Manager and I agreed “as long as it was still fun”. And right now I’m having a blast. I am married to my best friend Kathy and we have four kids and four grandkids. In my spare time I enjoy restoring vintage automobiles, any kind of racing, and traveling back roads.

Corey Keller Corey Keller
BMW Sales Manager

I was born and raised in the little town of Joppa, IL. After college, I started working at Bluegrass Honda as a salesperson in July of 2001, I then moved to the big city of Metropolis. I live there now with my wife Rebecca, adorable son Wakely and two dogs Sandi and Magie.

I started my car career with the sales staff at Bluegrass Honda. After three years of sales I then moved on to the Finance Manager position were I was for the next four years. On July 1, 2008 I became the Sales Manager for Bluegrass BMW.

My hobbies include bowling, hunting, fishing, golf, woodworking and playing pool. Having a toddler running house seems to put most of my hobbies on hold. But my wife and I are big Cardinals fans, so the time we do get together is either in front of the TV watching the game or going to a game in St. Louis.

Marla Lujan Marla Lujan
Client Advisor

My name is Marla Lujan and I've lived in Western Kentucky all of my life. I love Paducah and the surrounding areas. I am new to Bluegrass BMW but look forward to my exciting opportunity. As a recent owner of "The Ultimate Driving Machine" my passion has now become my career!

My husband John and two children keep me busy... golf, swimming, traveling, or just going out to eat...we like spending time together. If weather permits, we will be outside. I find relaxation in working in the yard and tending to the flowers and landscape. Spring is one of my favorite seasons because it's my chance to dig in the dirt and plant flowers.

I hope my friends will come by the dealership to say "hello" and enjoy a cup of coffee with me.

Joe Langston Joe Langston
Business Manager

I was born in Graves County and ventured into the car business by mistake in 1997 and that “mistake” turned out to be my calling.   I went to Morehead State University after high school and decided that I would transfer back to Murray State University to be closer to home and ended up needing a job over the summer……and that job was…..SELLING CARS! I have been in the business every since and to this day have not lost my passion for the people or the love for the business.

I started out selling cars and quickly moved to the Finance Department which is where I have been since.

When I am not in the office, you can find me at the gym, on the golf course, or at home with my wife Heather and my 3 year old son Aiden. I always look forward to walking in the house after a long day and getting “daddy’s hug”.

Charisa Fiser Charisa Fiser
IT -

I started at Bluegrass Honda BMW in 1999 in sales and internet sales then moved to back up F&I briefly before going into IT.

I was born in Cape Girardeau, MO but my family moved to around 5 different states and in each state about 4 different places before finally finding our home in Paducah.

After I graduated from Reidland High School, I took a year and a half out and traveled from coast to coast starting in Jacksonville, NC and eventually ending my travels in Vancouver, WA.. I met so many wonderful people during this time and have no regrets whatsoever about traveling throughout this amazing country that we have. After my travels I decided it was time to go to college. I came back to Paducah and started at PCC then transferred to Murray State University. While there, I threw javelin for Murray State University Track Team. After graduation, I moved out to Los Angeles, CA and worked at Jon Douglas Corporate Real Estate Office in downtown LA in layout and design for major newspapers.

After I grew tired of the hustle and bustle of LA, I decided to come back to Paducah. I got a job at UPS where I met my wonderful husband of 12 years, Brent. We have 2 amazing boys, Zachary 10 and Benjamin 6…they keep us very busy. We love to play golf as a family, go camping and watching our favorite NFL team…the Steelers!

In my spare time I run a small charity group called the Youth Tolerance Organization.  We put together records and shows to raise money for less fortunate people in all situations. In the rare event that I'm not busy with these things I'm generally working on a goofy drawing or writing a song about space ships and/or girls.
I've spent the majority of my life in Paducah, though I've also enjoyed time in a variety of other places.  I was born in Oklahoma, and I've also lived in Kansas City and even Australia for a while. I travel absolutely every moment I have the opportunity.
